Outdoor Retailer Summer Market is just around the corner and many brands will be debuting new products for the Spring/Summer 2011 season. Osprey Packs is expanding their product lineup to include an ultra-light series of packs for the ultra-running, peak-bagging, and adventure racing crowds.
The new Hornet series will be available in three sizes: 24-liter, 36-liter, and 42-liter, and the largest of the packs will weigh in at a mere 1 pound 8 ounces. Osprey has somehow managed to pack quite a feature list into such a minimal sounding (and lightweight) pack–here are just a few features the packs will have:
- Hydration compatibility
- Adjustable overskirt compression strap
- Ultralight 7mm webbing side compression
- Front stretch mesh pocket
- Reflective detail on front pocket
- Cord tie-off points
