Pre-OR Coverage: Keen introduces new trail shoes

Next week at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, hybrid shoe maker Keen will be debuting their new line of  lightweight, performance trail running shoes. Best known for their more rugged designs, the new trail runners will bring a streamlined look to the Keen product lineup. However, comfort is still a major part of the “Keen DNA,” according to the company. Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the models being put into production for the Spring 2011 season.

A86 TR:

  • Built from lightweight PU and weighs only 9 ounces/pair
  • Breathable textile mesh upper
  • Removable high-rebound EVA footbed
  • 3mm multi-directional traction lugs
  • Loads of bright colors to choose from for both men’s and women’s styles
  • MSRP $90

Tyron WP:

  • Features the new impact absorbing KEEN.ZORB insole technology
  • KEEN.Dry waterproofing
  • Weighs in at 13.3 ounces/pair
  • Constructed with an abrasion-resistant and breathable textile mesh upper
  • Men’s and women’s styles will come in 3 colorways each
  • MSRP $120
