Though the annual Mountainfilm Festival is still a few months away, the deadline for submissions is rapidly approaching. Monday, February 28 is the last day that you will be able to submit your outdoor adventure film. Whether it is a documentary, narrative, feature length or short, Mountainfilm encourages filmmakers to submit films that address the annual theme, though all submission are welcome. This year’s theme is “AWARENESS INTO ACTION.” $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded this year at the closing ceremony to outstanding films shown during the festival.
Mountainfilm Festival has been an annual event for over three decades and continues to draw filmmakers and audiences from across the globe. Telluride, Colorado sets the backdrop for the 4-day event. In addition to the films being shown during the festival, there are special events, gallery walks, symposiums, and Q&A sessions with filmmakers.
