If you’re someone who loves an adventure film, definitely check out the new film from Woodshed Films, 180 South. The film follows Jeff Johnson, a climber/surfer/writer inspired by the 1968 journey to Patagonia by Yvon Chouinard (founder of Patagonia) and Doug Tompkins (founder of The North Face).

In 1968, Chouinard and Tompkins wer

e so inspired by the landscape they found that it began the conservation of now over 2 million acres of land in Chile and Argentina. Johnson was inspired to seek out his own adventure, in search of Corcovado, a mythical peak. Taking the route south to Patagonia via sea (rather than land, like Chouinard and Tompkins), Johnson makes friends and meets heroes.

Check out the trailer:

180 South will release this Spring. You can read more about the Johnson, his crew, the history of the story and more on the film’s website.
