If you live in the Bay Area and haven’t spent all your cash at the Mountain Hardware factory sale, Marmot is throwing one of their own Dec 10-12. I haven’t been to this sale in the past, but if Marmot’s sale is like any of the others I’ve been to, it’s going to be busy. Good luck on getting some great gear on the cheap. Personally, I recommend Marmot’s sleeping bags and tents. My Alpinist 2P is a fantastic 4 season tent.
Rumor has it that there won’t be a December 2010 annual sale. We’ll let you know if we hear otherwise though.
Bummer! And I am headed off to Yosemite in January for a wilderness EMT course! Was hoping to hit up Marmot for some goodies if the sale was before I took off. Gotta love living in Santa Rosa!
