Hike-a-Thon 2009

Hike-a-Thon 2009

Will you be spending the next month hiking as much as you can before the summer ends? Participate in the Washington Trails Association’s Hike-a-Thon and you can raise money to help protect your favorite trails.

All you have to do is register online, collect pledges, and spend the month of August hiking. You can log your miles online, and at the end of the month they will be tallied. In addition to raising money for WTA, you can win prizes from Hike-a-Thon sponsors like Outdoor Research and Sherpa Adventure Gear.

It doesn’t take much to make a difference; collection only $50 from five pledges and you will send a crew leader to Wilderness First Aid Training. Anyone can participate, and you can hike as much or as little as you want.
