We’re mixing it up a bit with this week’s Gear Closet Giveaway. For the past few months, we’ve been giving away gear for people, but who says dogs can’t join in on the fun? This week, we’re giving away a brand new OllyDog Mt Tam Belt & Leash combo so you can enjoy your favorite trails with your dog by your side.
We’ll also be throwing in some goodies for you from from CLIF and All Terrain. There may be some additional goodies in the bag if we get them from companies ahead of time. Think you and your dog will put it to good use? Here’s your chance to win!
Still interested? Here’s what you’ll have to do:
• Go outside this week and do whatever activity you do with your dog (hiking, biking, trail running, etc.).
• Take a picture of you and/or your dog doing this activity
• Make sure there’s something in the picture that says “Daily Hiker” in it (so we know you’re actually going outside for the giveaway)
• Send the photo to shirts@dailyhiker.com by Sunday, November 27, 2011
We’ll pick someone to get the gear on Monday, November 28, 2011.
You can use whatever you want that says Daily Hiker on it. If you have one of our free stickers or our t-shirts, that works. If you don’t, write “Daily Hiker” on masking tape, write it in the dirt, or spell it out in stones–get creative! Whichever picture we like the most gets the gear. Note, this isn’t a photography contest, so you don’t have to go somewhere spectacular. As long as you’re getting out into the wilderness, we’re happy. There may be extra points awarded for creativity, though.
Note that you need to send in a new picture to enter. We want people to get outside and have fun. So, if you’ve sent a picture in for a previous giveaway, go outside and take a new one.
The fine print:
You need to have a US or Canadian address for us to send the gear to.
Gear has no cash value.
