As I mentioned yesterday, our gear review policy is changing. We’re going to give away as much of the gear we review as we can.
To start things off, we’re going to be giving away this Eureka Casper 15 sleeping bag:
We reviewed this bag a couple weeks ago and thought it was a pretty nice bag for the price. Now, we’re looking for a good home for it.
So, what do you need to do? Well, we want to encourage our readers to get outside. So, you’re going to have to do some work:
- Go outside and do whatever human powered activity you want to do (hiking, biking, kayaking, climbing, etc)
- Take a picture of yourself doing this activity
- Make sure there’s something in the picture that says “Daily Hiker” in it (so we know you’re actually going outside for the giveaway)
- Send the photo to shirts@dailyhiker.com
- We’ll pick someone to get the sleeping bag on Monday August 15, 2011
You can use whatever you want that says Daily Hiker on it. If you have one of our free stickers or our t-shirts, that works. If you don’t, write “Daily Hiker” on masking tape, write it in the dirt, or spell it out in stones. Whichever picture we like the most gets the sleeping bag. Note, this isn’t a photography contest. So, you don’t have to go somewhere spectacular. As long as you’re getting out into the wilderness, we’re happy. There may be extra points awarded for creativity though.

So, get outside, have some fun, and send us your pictures. Even if you don’t get the sleeping bag, we’ll post a bunch of the pictures in a Facebook album for everyone to see.

You need to have a US or Canadian address for us to send the backpack to.

just came back from hiking yesterday! these bags look awesome! nice for a power nap after hiking, and look very convienent to take in case you need one, after a vigerous day in the woods, to just lay down, look up at the clear blue sky and get ya back and on your way! ;D happy trails!
