There are a couple events for good causes coming up in the Seattle area that I’ve seen. If you’re looking for something to do, here are a couple ideas.
Tomorrow, (Wednesday August 19, 2009) there’s beer & bbq for a good cause. The info for the event is:
I’m going to have a keg of Roger’s Pilsner to celebrate the summer and raise some more money for the HERA foundation and ovarian cancer research. Bring a couple of bucks to donate and we’ll provide beer and snacks. The grill will be running and I’ll have condiments but please BYOM.
If you are interested in learning more about HERA and Climb for Life, check out www.herafoundation.org for details.
