Don’t miss it–tonight, November 10, at 8pm Pacific, the National Geographic Channel will be presenting a one-hour special on the Appalachian Trail. The show, called America’s Wild Spaces will explore the contrast between the wilds of the AT and the proximity to residential populations.
The program will follow the trail from the South to the North, exploring the five distinct regions of one of the country’s most popular through-hike (every year over 4 million people hike a portion of the AT), showcasing awe-inspiring vistas and discussing the work that goes into conservation of the trail.
